American Express urges customers to “not leave home without it.” The “it” in that marketing slogan is the American Express Credit Card. Now, this multi-million dollar credit card company has taken all the perks, benefits and convenience of its credit card and rolled them into its American Express Gift Cards. Everyone knows how gift cards work but American Express, as an innovator, has added a few new wrinkles into the gift-giving process. American Express Gift Cards can be customized and include a personal message to the recipient, whether it be a simple “Thank You” or more of a holiday-inspired gift for Mother’s Day or a best friend’s birthday.
