Car and truck owners can breathe a sigh of relief: The doctor is in.
The days of shady car mechanics pulling the proverbial wool over the eyes of uninformed and uneducated customers when servicing a vehicle are gone.
CarMD has diagnosed that ongoing problem and has concocted the perfect remedy. CarMD is a device that easily attaches to any car, truck or SUV and immediately indicates whether a problem exists and exactly what is wrong with your vehicle.
The science behind CarMD seems ridiculously simple: CarMD uses a red, yellow and green light system. Simply plug the CarMD into the 16-pin connector in your car – the spot where that is located varies depending on make and model – and CarMD registers one of those three aforementioned colors.
Green, of course, means you’re good to go. Yellow warns customers that trouble in on the horizon, while red is a sign that something is wrong.
The exact problem can be found once customers take CarMD and plug it into their computer. The software provided as part of the CarMD system shows you exactly what is wrong and then customers can print the report, which also includes the cost of the part needed and an overall summary of repair costs.
This poetic piece of paperwork probably leaves mechanics in awe: finally, the customer is in control. Of course, not all mechanics are dishonest but CarMD keeps them in check regardless. To add to their level of service, CarMD also employs car technicians as part of its software, so customers have access to impartial opinions of experts in the field.
CarMD simply can’t help itself. This device doesn’t “dumb-down†car repair or undermine mechanics who have spent years honing their crafts. CarMD is more of a consumer watchdog that is content on protecting the best interests of their customers, while generating sales and high praise in the process.
