There is a well known company called Road Runner Sports that began in a garage in Del Mar, California. If any of you have been to Del Mar, then you probably are familiar with La Jolla and other beautiful surrounding locations of the greater San Diego area, but you probably didn't know that this is where Road Runner Shoes began. It all started back in 1983 when one employee took seven orders for shoes. This little organization simply stopped and stared when a hundred pairs of shoes arrived to the garage location and realized it was going to take teamwork to get this company moving. Two and half decades later, Road Runner Shoes is a name known by most people in this country, and they now have distribution centers located in San Diego and Columbus, Ohio. They have store fronts throughout the western states, Colorado, and the mid Atlantic, and they continue to provide the customer service that has enabled their explosive growth. Road Runner Shoes will continue to provide a great fit for feet for the active lifestyle.
